I’m Justin from Tom’s hardware and just wanted to share with you my weekly random finding on the internet. So, in today’s short post I’ll be covering a possible hope, a fix, a salvation for my shitty PC to operate newer games, as I’m a hardcore gaming lover but as well broke AF.Hah, such a combo!

So, for starters, a little gaming industry introduction and a bit of numbers:

As survey shows, almost 60% of people at the day of 18-35 play PC games one or more times per month, which is pretty stunning number isn’t it? On the other hand, with this variety of games on Steam it’s pretty logical, that there has to be a game for all (if interested, my current favorite is Hearts of Iron 4).


Sadly, the thing with gaming is not that every PC can handle them properly. Some PCs never have enough RAM, others could have weak graphic cards and etc. which can be the most annoying thing to handle when you’ve JUST BOUGHT a fresh copy of your brand-new game. It really sucks right?

However (I don’t need to advertise or anything), I saw some promising solution coming out. To be more specific, a few months back I saw a commercial with really strong words - “the best PC games booster ever - awokeX”. Sounds a bit strange but interesting simultaneously, isn’t it?

Since (you know) my computer is crap, I thought, why shouldn’t I require a quick look whatever they offer!So, the first my reaction was something like “wow, this looks interesting”, because the software itself looks astonishing and completely different from anything I’ve seen made for Windows before. It has an 8 (or 9?) in game booster to maximize PC performance. I mean, the developers merged every possible trick(many of them are truly unseen at the very least for me) into one software! Now this made my interest through the roof. However,the sad part is the developers are nevertheless in finishing it so I’ve subscribed for newsletter to become notified about its release. I’ll notify ya’ll regarding it (you might be also capable to subscribe to them if you’d like to)

I didn’t even hesitate to contact with the dudes who are creating it! So, as they’ve mentioned (btw really friendly guys) the software program is developing soon and they are generally rushing their balls release a it prior to the end of November. Oh, we were holding giving out free t-shirt, but I didn’t win any…

So, to sum everything up, with all of this stuff they shall be offering, maybe, JUST MAYBE there might be a fix to truly increase games FPS for men like me and everyone else with weak PCs? I guess we’ll notice that in time.Right now all we need to do is wait…

Who knows, whether or not this truly helps, I might even write a full review on our website, cause I think it’ll be appropriate for people.
